SAIL AWAY: Milanos S/S 2012 Ad Campaign

After writing about PARISIAN's sizzling summer ad campaign, it's time to give the spotlight to MILANOS as we all look forward to stepping up to a luxe vacation this coming Holy Week.

While most of us are setting up our wardrobe choices that will have us looking great underneath the summer sun, MILANOS, the in-house footwear brand of SM Department Store targetted for young male professionals, presents a collection of cool casual shoes that come with classic sporty-leisure vibe.

According to MILANOS, boat shoes are so hot this season. Wear it when you feel a little sporty or want to brave the heat with shorts. You can also wear with with jeans or chinos and with any kind of casual shirt. It is best to wear it sans socks, but if you must, get those really low foot socks that doesn't show.

Once again, Geo and I (Team MGP) would like to thank the LTBG Group of SM Department Store for this fun shoot done in Subic Yacht Club. Nothing can be as luxurious as shooting while cruising on a yacht, and even sailing on a regatta. Love the whole creative team! The Great Escape: SAM PINTO FOR PEOPLE ASIA MAGAZINE April 2011

For some unexplainable reason, Geo and I seemed to be nautically-inclined with our recent fashion editorial shoots. It started this year with MONDAY MAGAZINE's sizzling pictorial entitled  'Nautical Numbers' wherein we sailed away to amazing Subic Bay via Apa Ongpin's private yacht (I published a blog entry about it last month). The cruise experience was self-gratifying - living the grand life has never felt that good!

So here we go the second time, feeling luxurious and sushal all over again... The 'amazing cruise-aders' are back to the sea with this month's edition of PEOPLE ASIA MAGAZINE - also taking on the pleasure side of holiday cruise. This time around, we navigated the blue waters of Peninsula de Punta Fuego in Nasugbu, Batangas, and transformed (the already stunning) SAM PINTO as the charter queen of the world.

And oh, by the way, this shoot had so much statement that Sam P., Tatum Ancheta (art director), Dix Perez (photographer) and some others came aboard a helicopter coming to the location! Geo and I were soooo inggit... Lucky you, Mama Cherry Pacheco (our makeup artist), at least you were able to ride the chopper on the way back to Manila! :-)

It's almost summer. That means sun, sea, skies and lots of fun... For the rich, it's taking off in style and sailing the blues away aboard a luxury yacht.

MONDAY MAGAZINE's Edition V features another of our workwatsa adventure wherein we hailed off to Subic for a dose of luxurious nautical spree.
