LEG LOVIN'

Sayang! I attended the LEG LOVE by City Lady event last Tuesday at the Rockwell Tent, but I arrived extremely late - which is nothing much of a surprise to my friends, you know (car coding kasi) :-). Although it wasn't a planned thing, my partner George Palmiano told me to follow him there, upon the urging of queen bee Ayen Florendo of SM Men's Fashion, in a way to give support to our beloved Mother Luis Espiritu who styled for the men's fashion segment that featured creations for Elements by Gold Toe Socks.

After the success of its collaboration with the quirky Kate Torralba, LEG LOVE unveiled its latest hosiery designs - from leg to toe, of course - this time with model/columnist/FASH TV Host Bianca Valerio and fashion designer Pablo Cabahug. Chanelling Dita Von Teese's sensual naughtiness, Bianca's line for LEG LOVE COUTURE showcased  6 fetish designs which are all burlesque/lingerie-inspired to show that you can actually be sexy without showing any skin. On the other hand, Pablo's rendition made use of interesting and very fashionable geometric pattern interplay that will knock everyone dead in the boardroom or in the bedroom.

Men's socks also went centerstage with the launch of ELEMENTS by GOLD TOE that brought forward design collaborations with other FASH TV Hosts and stylistas, Ferdi Salvador and Ram de Vera. All socks were naturally anti-bacterial, and were made of eco-friendly materials, specifically bamboo fiber.

Since I missed out seeing the fashion show, I was still fortunate to see familiar and fashionable faces. Although I would personally love to have one of Bianca Valerio's hosiery designs, I am glad to receive a pair of polka-dotted socks from Elements by Gold Toe, hehehe.
