PEOPLE OF THE YEAR 2011-2012

Don't we all want to start 2012 with utmost class and sophistication? Our MGP team is thrilled that our first published magazine styling work for the new year is currently out with PEOPLE ASIA's 12th Anniversary issue. We are even more elated because it's the annual PEOPLE OF THE YEAR, and we were able to meet and style some of the awardees who made a remarkable difference the whole year.

The PEOPLE OF THE YEAR issue features a dual cover starring World Boxing Champ REP. MANNY PACQUIAO and Miss World 2011 1st Runner-Up GWENDOLINE RUAIS / REP. MANNY PACQUIAO and Miss Universe 2011 3rd Runner-Up SHAMCEY SUPSUP. Sayang, we were assigned sana to style for Pacman, but we were already booked for another work that day! And speaking of Gwen whom we just had dinner with last night, we are doubly happy for your achievements, girl!

On the other hand, here's the round-up of the PEOPLE OF THE YEAR 2011-2012 that we were able to work with and style: Senator Edgardo Angara, businessman Henry Sy, Jr., National Artist Ben Cabrera, composer/musical arranger Louie Ocampo, broadcaster Ted Failon, master lensman Jun de Leon and businessman George Yang. Others were Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago, broadcaster Mel Tiangco, Evelyn Singson and People's Choice awardee Maruxa Pita.

Thank you PEOPLE ASIA for this another awesome experience. Having to meet these individuals who made their mark in their respective industries is beyond words, much for to style for them. And on a side note, please check out our advertorial shoot for SM Department Store's in-house footwear brands, Parisian and Salvatore Mann, that were also included in this issue (I may blog about it next time).
