May 2011 Covers of the Month: Red-hot METRO, Apocalyptic ROGUE & Nomadic MONDAY

Time flies really fast that we're almost through with the first half of the year. The month of May has a lot to offer, and that includes magazines wowing us with their covers. Here are the top three that have caught my attention - really, wow!

METRO Magazine goes for stellar style in a red-hot anniversary issue with sultry actress Iza Calzado burning the front page. Wearing covetable creations by Chris Diaz and Rajo Laurel, Iza steals the spotlight looking like a screen goddess for this issue.

For several months now, ROGUE Magazine impresses consistently with their artistic and seductive cover renditions. This time around, model Teresa Herrera looks like an end-of-days centurion princess with red hair, armor-plated dress and strappy gladiator footwear. It surely feels like Doomsday for the magazine, but hey, it doesn't end here!

Finally, MONDAY Magazine enters my list with the release of Edition 7 called "Nomads". With two of the hottest and most fashionable celebrities in tinseltown, Solenn Heusaff and Dingdong Dantes, this is what I expect that the magazine will do this time - inject star quality in its latest dual cover!

Geo and I are constant style contributors for this magazine, and we truly love the working experience everytime an assignment sets in with its amazingly fun, level-headed and creative people. Unlike other magazines, MONDAY deviates from the usual path that other magazines take, with its very clean, streamlined but out-of-the-box perspective, and intelligent views mixed with a little flair of fashion, lifestyle and architecture. However, I personally feel that apart from its conceptual themes, well-thought layout and intellectual innuendo, it's about time to level up by covering personalities (not just celebrities though) with bigger names and wider audience following.
