SHOELABORATIONS

Lately, we have been so busy - and blessed - with lots of works. One fine, and may I add, gruelling LONG day, we were shooting for SM ACCESSORIES' series of new ad campaign, when my partner Geo shouted at me in exaltation, saying "Fabuloushhhh Shoesssshhh!!!"

In between styling, I would mock on the slick and stylish MR. JOHN KENNER CHUA'S (the creative head behind SM Accessories) black pair of extraordinary shoes. It was a cross between a formal lace-up and a sporty-soled rubber shoes. Geo and I were salivating at the sight of the said pair. No wonder, it was an EMPORIO ARMANI x REEBOK piece - and without contending, the shoes definitely made the man (nevermind if Mr. Kenner would resist such thought because he markets accessories)!

Front and Back - and all angles perhaps, I just love the combination of formal and sporty elements!

Glad that I was able to convince Boss Kenner to have me photograph his Emporio Armani x Reebok collaboration shoes for 2010.

Just like Mr. Kenner, George and I - especially  George - have soft spot for nice shoes. I think more and more men are stepping forward, vis-a-vis their women counterparts, when it comes to greater shoe designs with unexpected details, versatility and functionality. We have to admit, there's an Imelda Marcos in each of us, including men. Here's the segway: having spotted Mr. Kenner's footwear, Geo and I are excited with some of the latest designer x retailer shoe collaborations for men this 2011 and are hoping that these will hit our local stores:
